We would like to invite you, the best artists from New England to apply for our show at the Livery in Sunapee Harbor, NH. Our Goal is to provide an opportunity for you to display and sell your work at the best time of the summer at a great location in the middle of vacationland. The Livery is a beautiful old building with wonderful gallery spaces to best show off your work. The show coincides with the week of the League of NH Craftsman Fair at Mt. Sunapee and is a fundraiser for the Center For The Arts NH . Advertising will be extensive and there will be a grand opening with wine and food as well as two nights of musical entertainment. Sunapee Harbor is a busy summer attraction with restaurants, dinner cruises aboard the MV MT. Sunapee, shops ,and bandstand concerts. We hope you will consider joining us for this great opportunity ! - Exhibit Dates: August 2nd– August 11th, 2019 Opening Reception Sat. August 3rd, 5-7pm . Entry Deadline: July 1st - Call Description: All artists are invited to submit up to four pieces to the juror for this annual event at The Livery , This is a fine art exhibit displaying the diverse and creative talent of the NH/VT region and the theme is New England Landscapes and Wildlife. Our goal is to provide artists with the best venue at the best time of the summer in the middle of the Sunapee vacation region. The Center For The Arts is a nonprofit organization focused on enriching lives and building community through the arts by showcasing existing arts organizations and artists through our First Fridays Programs and Arts Shows throughout the year in the Lake Sunapee / Mt.Kearsarge/ Ragged area. Submission Requirements: -Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media of New England Landscapes and/or wildlife -All artwork must be original -Juror Ron Brown, noted artist and owner of the former Banks Gallery in New London -Nothing to exceed 48 inches wide and 60” high, including frame A commission of 30 % will be retained on all work sold -Understand that liability and insurance on all artwork is the responsibility of the artist -Consent to reproduce for publicity is assumed upon entry -All artwork must be dry and wired securely for hanging. No sawtooth hangers will be accepted .All accepted entries must be hand-delivered .Important Dates: July 1st -entry deadline (payment and submissions) July 3rd -notifications sent via email July 31st-Accepted entries received 12:00 noon- 4:00 August 2 -Preview opening 4:30-8:00 with concert 7:00 PM August 3 -Show opens at 11:00 AM- 4:30 , Opening Reception 5:00-7:00 , August12th -Exhibited works reclaimed 12:00 noon - 4:00 .work may not be removed before the exhibit closes at 7:00 PM 8/12/2019 A.S./CFA is not responsible for work left unclaimed after 4:00PM 8/12/2019 For more information email gallery@centerfortheartsnh.org To register, click register button at top right
